1. What GiftYourSong does

GiftYourSong helps you create personalised song gifts from information you provide, such as names, occasions, memories, preferred tone, language, lyrics, genre, and voice direction. The service may use AI music and lyric generation tools, including third-party providers, to create previews and full song versions.

The finished product may include a song file, a reveal/gift page, a private manage link, cover artwork, lyrics, and download links.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You may use GiftYourSong as a guest or with a registered account where available. Guest users may be assigned an anonymous session so that drafts, previews, checkout, and delivery can work correctly.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information, keeping private manage links secure, and making sure you have permission to submit any personal details, memories, lyrics, names, images, or other content about another person.

3. Your content and permissions

You keep responsibility for the information and materials you submit. This includes names, stories, memories, custom lyrics, style instructions, uploaded cover images, and messages for reveal pages.

By submitting content to GiftYourSong, you grant us the rights needed to process that content, generate lyrics and songs, create gift pages, store the result, send delivery emails, provide downloads, and operate support. This permission is limited to providing and improving the service.

• Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, invasive of privacy, or intended to impersonate or deceive.
• Do not upload or submit copyrighted lyrics, recordings, images, or other materials unless you own them or have permission to use them.
• Do not use GiftYourSong to create content that violates another person’s rights or applicable law.

4. AI-generated songs and creative results

AI-generated music can vary. Previews and final songs may not always match your exact expectation, pronunciation, style, structure, or emotional tone. We provide editing, regeneration, and preview steps where possible so you can choose the version you prefer before unlocking a full song.

You understand that similar prompts, genres, themes, or occasions may produce similar musical or lyrical elements for different users. GiftYourSong does not guarantee that any AI-generated output is unique in every musical idea, phrase, chord progression, style, or arrangement.

5. Previews, purchases, and delivery

Free previews are provided so you can test ideas before purchasing. Preview limits may apply per day, account, device, or session to protect the service from abuse.

A purchase unlocks the selected song version and creates the associated gift page, manage link, and delivery email where configured. Most songs are ready within minutes, but delivery can take longer if third-party generation, media storage, email delivery, or payment verification is delayed.

Download links may be secure signed links that expire. If a download link expires, use your manage link or contact support so a fresh link can be provided where available.

6. Payments, Stripe, and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. GiftYourSong does not store your full card details. Stripe may collect and process payment information according to its own terms and privacy policy.

Because GiftYourSong creates personalised digital content, completed purchases are generally final once the full song, gift page, manage link, or download has been delivered. If something goes wrong, contact support@giftyoursong.com and we will review the issue fairly.

Refunds or replacements may be considered where there is a duplicate charge, a technical failure that prevents delivery, or another clear service issue. We may ask for your checkout email, order details, reveal link, or manage link to investigate.

7. Gift pages, privacy settings, and sharing

Gift pages may have privacy settings such as private, unlisted, or public where available. Private and manage links should be treated as sensitive. Anyone with a valid unlisted reveal link or manage link may be able to access the page or controls associated with that link.

If you share a public or unlisted gift page, you are responsible for making sure the recipient and any people mentioned in the song are comfortable with that sharing.

8. Ownership and permitted use

Subject to these Terms and successful payment, you may use the delivered song for personal gifting, private sharing, and non-commercial social sharing. You may download and share the song and gift page with the intended recipient.

Commercial use, resale, redistribution as a competing product, use in paid advertising, or uploading the song to commercial music distribution platforms is not allowed unless we give written permission.

GiftYourSong retains ownership of the website, software, branding, design, templates, prompts, workflows, and service infrastructure.

9. Service availability and third-party providers

GiftYourSong relies on third-party services for AI generation, payments, hosting, database/storage, email delivery, and analytics or security. These services can experience downtime, delays, rate limits, or changes outside our control.

We may update, pause, limit, or discontinue parts of the service when needed for maintenance, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or product changes.

10. Limitation of liability

GiftYourSong is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or emotional distress arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product, providers, laws, or business needs change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the latest version took effect. Continued use of GiftYourSong after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
